Beautiful trekking trip across the rather unknown Sirdals- and Setesdalsheiane. While it is rather flat in the Setelsdalsheiane with good paths and beautiful huts, it is more mountainous, rocky and rough in the Sirdalsheiane. Also in the Fjell you can see the effects of the unusually warm and dry summer. Many marshy areas are dry, streams and lakes smaller than usual. As positive one can designate that also the mosquitoes could increase less with this dryness. Especially the south of Norway suffers from extreme drought.
