Maiden GPS Test Long Range 7" Quadcopter
First time taking out the new 7" build with GPS up and running. I did an initial test flight when the build was complete last weekend, but I didn't have GPS installed and setup. All good to go now and need to make sure GPS is working solid, I don't have GPS rescue setup yet, need to test and make sure all works first.
Not a very long flight, quick test with a 1250mah 6s pack, I need to order some long range packs and maybe some Li Ion packs as well. Check out that low amp draw ! not bad, I'm happy with it and excited to try some monster packs :)
Running Betaflight 4.1.7 with stock tune and filters (what came with the CLRacing board) so I didn't want to mess with it too much yet. I might flash the latest version, but let's see how this works first so we can get a comparison.
RPM filters are running, with DShot 300 with 4k 4k loop times. This was also the way the board came default, let's see how it does before making changes.
Flying with HQ 6x4x3 props, all I have at the moment. I have some HQ 7" and Gemfan 7" props on the way, both tri blades and bi blades and will test them all !
Can't wait to try some more goodies with this bad boy, and order some bigger packs !!!
