Regional Class Research Vessel (RCRV) - Cam 7
The view shows the starboard side of RV Taani's steel hull. All of the steel hull modules have been erected. Later this fall the aluminum hull/superstructure will be erected onto the steel hull. The aluminum-steel connection is made using a "detacouple" which is an explosively bonded metal strip with steel on one side and aluminum on the other.
