World's Biggest Lego Tower
Building the world's biggest Lego tower in Budapest, Hungary.
The tower was standing 114 feet (34.76 meter) tall in Budapest to set the new record for the tallest Lego tower in the world. Guinness World Records confirms it was "the tallest structure built with interlocking plastic bricks".
The tower soared in front of the city's St. Stephen's Basilica, and consisted of more than 450,000 toy pieces topped with a Rubik's cube.
Budapest's Lego Store organized the construction where schoolchildren and members of the public helped build the tower from May 21 to May 25, 2014.
