ORCA Ireland has teamed up with Rainforest Connection and Huawei to listen to whales and dolphins off the south coast of Ireland in real-time and to train sophisticated Machine Learning Models to recognise different species calls! It can be quite a challenge isolating individual calls when there is a whole dolphin chorus whistling.
