UP 8018 Z-Train Intermodal South - Calaveras Bike Trail/ McAllen Pvt. Railroad Crossing, Stockton CA
(Filmed August 25, 2024) I went out to the bike trail crossing this afternoon where I salvaged the day with one catch. This train is what I believed to be the ZBRLC unless it’s still ISELC/ IBRLC or something else as this symbol has changed frequently over the last few years. I setup on this side as I don’t do so very often especially with the sun lowering in the afternoon/ early evening. This crossing owned by Union Pacific is a mixed install with the close signal being an SP early 1990s install with changes to its bell, lights, gate and gate lights. The left signal is an SP 1960s install with changes to its bell, gate, gate lights, lights, light heads, junction box, brackets, mechanism and counterweight arms pretty much everything but its base.
