Ar5oN - Audio Track 01
Pardon the following autobiography.
Back in 1996, my Quake clan had a childish rivalry, and this jerkwad named Pubes was in it. A couple years later I bump into some guy in the demoscene IRC with similar music tastes -- the first and last time going there for both of us, turned out -- so we connected on ICQ, where we still used our old Quake handles. It was the same dude. He wasn't so bad after all. I happened to live relatively close by, and he even invited me over for Thanksgiving.
We worked on some tunes together after work for a couple of years. We were utter amateurs, but it was rewarding in its own way. A couple years later, I stopped by during a cross-country move, and we hammered this little tune. Never even gave it a name.
We lost touch, reconnected briefly, but never truly caught up. The other day I learned he died. So, to honor the memory of the only dude who ever cared to collaborate on music with me, I'll put his stuff out there, to preserve some small part of him. Good memories, Ar5oN.
