Raspberry Pi Audio Reactive Holiday LEDs (No Mic Required)
Welcome to the 16th Raspberry Pi video! This video is the update to my Audio Reactive LED tutorial from July ( • Raspberry Pi Audio Reactive LED Strip... ).
The most common request I've gotten was, can we play music directly off the Pi instead of using a Mic. Today, I say yes!
The project with the Mic is still there, that's not going away. This was just done in a separate branch. Be sure to follow the no_mic branch for this version. I will eventually merge both of them and have a way for you to quickly switch between them. I just have a lot more work to do on this.
The software installation is just as easy as the last time. One script that does almost everything for you. You just have to make sure you connect a speaker (Bluetooth or USB speaker only) and run this in the GUI of a full Raspberry Pi OS install.
