Advanced Options on the Raspberry Pi Imager - super easy headless mode
Welcome to the 24th Raspberry Pi video! This video is the update to my 17th RPi video ( • Raspberry Pi Imager and Setting up a ... ) which was a look at the Raspberry Pi imager in 2020.
They've been slowly working on improving the app and now they've made it easier than ever to set up a headless Headless Raspberry Pi. Now you can set the SSH, WiFi, Hostname, and locale settings before you even create the image on the Micro SD Card. Super, duper, easy. No longer do you need to create a wpa_supplicant.conf file or a blank ssh file, they're all done automatically.
The bug I talked about in the video no longer exists on the latest version of the RPi imager.
