Crude oil still gushing three days after Trans-Niger Pipeline explosion in Rivers State
EXCLUSIVE | Large quantities of crude are still gushing from the Trans-Niger pipeline three days after an explosion was put out.
The TNP, a critical federal oil transport line, feeds crude oil to the Bonny export terminal in Rivers State. Our Correspondent, Soibi Oruwari, visited the site today on the outskirts of Bodo in Gokana Local Government Area and reports that containment efforts are yet to begin.
While a joint investigation visit may take place today, youths from the affected community have already mounted surveillance in the area.
