SOUTHERN OHIO MATTERS with Gina Collinsworth WORK RIDE SOLUTIONS
This edition of Southern Ohio Matters features the Work Ride Solutions Program, a free ride to and from work that will be rolling out in Adams, Brown and Highland Counties for a limited time, through November 1, 2024.

The program is made available through the National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) Learning Launch.

Through a Region 7 Transportation Needs Surveys committee members learned what transportation services are being used by residents and what needs are not being addressed. Survey results revealed the real need in regional transportation was assistance to people who needed a ride to work, and the grant-funded Work Ride Solutions program will not only do that, but it will be used to collect real-time data. The data will help organizers move forward with a more permanent solution.

Transportation is provided by FRS Transportation. Contact FRS for more details and to get signed up.
