「創意香港」主辦及電影發展基金資助的「新導展暨香港電影巡禮」於2023年10月22日在曼谷舉行開幕禮。有關項目為香港周2023@曼谷節目之一，文化體育及旅遊局局長楊潤雄在開幕禮上致辭時表示，政府鼓勵業界積極參與國際電影節，以強化香港作為成熟及頂尖的亞洲電影製作樞紐的地位。
Presented by CreateHK and funded by Film Development Fund (FDF), the "Next Generation: Emerging Directors Exhibition & Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation" held its opening ceremony on 22 October 2023 in Bangkok. The Exhibition & Presentation is one of the programmes of Hong Kong Week 2023@Bangkok. Kevin Yeung, Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, delivered a speech at the ceremony and remarked that the Government encourages Hong Kong film industry to actively participate in international film festivals with a view to strengthening Hong Kong's status as a well-established and prominent hub for Asian film production.
