Urban bald eagles nesting in the middle of a busy city.
It's been over 15 years that I am aware, this pair of eagles nested and hatched eaglets every year in this busy town, but, probably been nesting at this location far longer.
When I first learned of them, was back 15 years ago. There were doing construction around the tall trees where the eagles nested. Today there is a very tall building and large parking garage right next to the trees and the nest.
The eagles come back to the nest every year. By December they would have a laid the eggs and by February hatched.
I believe a local nature conservancy groups have managed to keep this site protected.
I'm just a photographer that visits once a year, maybe twice.

Update: The eagles have hatched two eaglets this past December, of 2023. They are early for this Winter season. Happy New Year 2024.
As you can hear, the normal sounds of a noisy city with traffic, church bells ringing and sirens .
