UP 1943 on Beaumont Hill

Across much of 2021 and 2022, UP 1943 made a consistent showing on the Yuma subdivision as it led a number of manifests from both Texas and Arizona to West Colton yard. On this day it was leading a westbound in peak evening sun hours, as it crawled upgrade through both West Palm Springs and the old timetable location of Owl, now known as Robertson.
