Heyyy it's been a couple months but we've returned from the dead! For a while at least...
This one was quite the nightmare to host but y'know as editors it's not about the journey but the final result right? we'll say that. I've been wanting to do this since late 2021, and originally the idea flopped LOL but this year I brought it up again after a few ppl suggested reviving it. I'm fr so glad we did bc this is one of my fav songs ever. Also i've been gatekeeping this theme forever, finally got to let go of it
The theme we went for is inspired by the Sour album: stickers! .. and also edgy/emo/whatever aesthetic. Despite a lot of MEPs being paper related or the Daydream theme GirlsLoveClub invented these days (lol), this one's a bit of a different approach.. still paper tho!
I know how difficult the theme ended up being, so thank you to all the participants for putting as much effort in as they did! Shoutout to Colette for being our only replacement too
