Is Dark Matter Just Helium? A New Hypothesis!

I've been thinking about dark energy and dark matter and have a hypothesis. I have a fairly strong idea that dark matter might actually be helium from previous cosmic cycles. Helium, unlike other elements, can't freeze, and as entropy affects everything over time, helium remains intact since it doesn't freeze. This resistance to entropy could mean it persists as leftover dark matter.

As for dark energy, I think it could be connected to the second law of thermodynamics and potentially exists beyond the observable universe. Rather than forcing matter in the universe to repel, it might instead be pulling energy from the universe into false vacuum fields near absolute zero Kelvin. This idea is in its early stages, and I can't confirm that dark energy operates this way, just as I can't yet confirm that dark matter is helium until we have more evidence. But it's an intriguing path to explore.

The second law of thermodynamics, which deals with entropy and the flow of heat, is a key concept here. It describes how heat naturally flows from warmer to cooler areas and that energy conversion into work has limitations. Entropy, as a measure of disorder, increases in isolated systems, leading them toward thermodynamic equilibrium where entropy is highest. This irreversible trend, often called the 'arrow of time,' provides context for thinking about how dark energy might work on a grand scale.
