Metroid Fusion - Ridley "Safe Strat"
I finally figured out how to get out of bounds during the Ridley fight after hearing about this trick for years! So I made this dumb video.
To get out of bounds, Ridley needs to be moving backwards toward the wall and finish turning around right as he reaches the wall.
The Core-X will move to the right if I move far enough left while out of bounds. This is because Samus's X position underflows and becomes a really large positive value (65535), so the Core-X thinks Samus is to the right of it.
In case you're wondering, the title is a joke.
