Solar Power - another electricity meter spinning backwards
Brand new 6.6 KW solar installation completed a few minutes ago on my friend's house, hooked up to the old, existing electricity meter, making it spin backwards.
Within the next week, my electricity company will replace this old meter with a new Smart Meter ... but until then, we regularly go and watch the old meter spin backwards throughout the day, and it is truly a beautiful sight to behold !
My friend is using low energy light globes and flourescent lights, does what he can to save power, and is going to turn his spare fridge / freezer off to save even more power.
The result should be: no more power bills and a piggy bank on the roof that keeps you in credit with the electricity company. Cha Ching !!!
