Building a Forward Converter and Experimenting with it
Let's build a forward converter! In this video I'll briefly explain how it works and the theory behind it. Then I wind a transformer and build the circuit.
I also see if we can improve it by putting the demagnetizing coil on the secondary side.
The turns ratio of the transformer are about: N1 = 25, N2 = 20, Ndemag = 18. I lost count while making it so this is approximate. In general always use N1 = Ndemag!
