Talking Uniform: Landmark Manangatang Trial Site
We recently visited Andrew “Macca” McMahen from Landmark Manangatang, VIC to check in and see how his local trial site was performing.
For the past two years, Macca has been trialing the in-furrow fungicide, Uniform® from Syngenta – exploring a number of different application techniques, including fertiliser applied and liquid inject.
Maccas says that “early trial results are showing that the crop has more root growth, more rhizoctonia suppression, and spot form of net blotch suppression as well.”
According to Macca, he and his local growers are benefiting from the trial as it is giving “good solid statistical data that we can use to back up the good results we are getting on farm.”
