In the spirit of advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and fostering more equitable global partnerships, OCIC's International Development Week 2025 Gender Panel, ‘Feminist Futures: Exploring Transformative Leadership and Equitable Partnerships’, focused on feminist leadership and inclusive partnerships as transformative forces for creating lasting social change.
The panel explored how partnerships that are based on mutual respect, shared knowledge, and the recognition of diverse experiences can contribute to more sustainable and inclusive development practices. It also examined how feminist leadership navigates challenging environments while staying committed to values of equity, solidarity, and justice— leveraging resilience and collaboration to overcome systemic barriers and demonstrating that transformative change is possible, even in adversity.
