Opening our 2025 Symposium, Guillermo Correa, Executive Director of Red Argentina de Cooperación Internacional (RACI), joined Shannon Kindornay and Andy Ouédraogo of Cooperation Canada to discuss the strategic foresight tools and processes that can help us reimagine global development cooperation in an era of uncertainty and transformation. In this clip, Guillermo dispels the notion that the localization of aid means that Global South organizations don’t need to partner with NGOs in the North, but rather it is about finding a new role for NGOs in Canada and elsewhere based on mutual partnership.
