This news may shock some and delight others, but it's ultimately secondary. Why? Because the real issue isn't about one leader—it’s about Hezbollah's finances.
If Nasrallah is gone, a successor will take over. But the destruction of the main treasury during the attack is a serious blow. Fighters might fight out of ideology, but not forever without pay—especially in Lebanon, where many families have lost everything.
Iran’s ability to fund Hezbollah is limited, and transferring money now is a logistical nightmare. Without salaries, even the most committed fighters will struggle to continue.
