Tomato Farming within the Drought Season
Today, I return to my farm after being away during an extended drought season. The sun has scorched many plants, leaving some dried up and others curling their leaves to shield from the intense heat.
Despite the challenges, the drip irrigation system is helping to keep the tomatoes alive, but the soil remains parched. This drought has brought devastation to farms, and I can’t help but wonder how farmers without access to water are coping with larger farms.
