Exploring Durham with Hotel Indigo
We were recently invited spend a weekend exploring the historic northern city of Durham with Hotel Indigo Durham. We managed to cramp loads into our time there and visited the UNESCO World Heritage Cathedral and Open Treasures exhibition. We also visited the Palace Green Library and the Castle (unfortunately couldn't go in though). We also took a boat trip on the River Wear and enjoyed an Afternoon tea at the Garden Gate Cafe.
We also spent two glorious nights at the Hotel Indigo Durham which is in a listed building, the Old Shire Hall. So many beautiful features and ornate staircase and the most amazing roll top bath.
We also popped into Durhams smallest Gin bar called Tin of Sardines - I recommend you visit if your in the area.
