Fellowship Feature: Katarína Grácová
We are excited to feature Katarína Grácová and her achievement as an award recipient for the Best Master's Thesis on the Politics of the Anthropocene for her research work titled "How Climate Policies Impact Developing Countries: The Case of the European Union Carbon" awarded by the Open Society Hub for the Politics of the Anthropocene at CEU (OHPA)! 🎉🙌
The initial phases of this research were developed during her time as a Fellow with the Student Energy Fellowship, with invaluable support from their team. The latter stages of the research employed a multi-method approach, including legislative analysis, observations from the European Climate Summit, and interviews with policymakers.
Katarína has a master's degree in International Relations from Central European University in Vienna, where she specialized in climate policy, energy transition, and sustainability. Her professional experience spans various sectors, including non-profits, government agencies, and international organizations such as the sustainable-energy consulting group GreenMax, the European Parliament, and more.
