I QUIT MY SOFTWARE ENG JOB IN NYC
I can finally share with everyone that I quit my software engineering job in NYC.
I wanted to share my experience on how I prepared and went about interviewing. Not only that, submitting my resignation letter to my manager, it was an experience that I will never forget.
My timeline
March : Decide to look for new jobs
April & May : Start coding interview prep - CTCI, ECI, Leetcode
June : Start applying
July : Start interviewing
August : Sign offer
September : Wait
October : Start work visa transfer
November : Resign & Start new job
Do/Don't
Don't tell your boss you are interviewing
Don't make it obvious
Do update your resume
Do study algorithms
