Implementation Plan:

TITLE: - OPTIMAL COLLISION AVOIDANCE IN INTERSECTIONS USING RADAR SENSORS AND MPC ALGORITHM WITH LQR STEERING CONTROL

Step 1: Initially, we designed 2 Vehicular Dynamics model for the Simulink Model
Step 2: Next we integrate Radar Sensor to estimate position, Velocity and Trajectory of vehicles.
Step 3: Design Quadratic programming algorithm to optimize trajectory and safe route choices
Step 4: Next we implement the Model Predictive Control (MPC) algorithm with the Simulink model.
Step 5: Next we design code Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) Steering Control Algorithm to find Cost Function.
Step 6: Next we simulate the Vehicular Dynamics model in Simulink.
Step 7: test the system in intersection to see the algorithm results and collisions avoidance
Step 8: Finally, the designed system is evaluated with the following plots,
8.1: Energy Consumption
8.2: Response Time
8.3: Stability
8.4: False Positive and False Negative Rates
