CMF Phone 2 Pro vs CMF Phone 1 PWM and dithering analysis
Testing the dimming rates and types between the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the CMF Phone 1, including dithering analysis. Both phones use 120Hz AMOLED panels with DC dimming support. The CMF Phone 2 Pro switches to 2160Hz PWM dimming below 50% brightness, while the CMF Phone 1 switches to 960Hz PWM dimming below 20% brightness. Neither phone uses color dithering.
