Tectonic Rail Transit Hall Interlocking MTA Project Announcement.
Tectonic’s Rail Transit division has been awarded their second Project Management Consultant services contract with @MTA Construction & Development for the @Long Island Rail Road Hall Interlocking Expansion Design-Build project! In concert with MTA C&D’s LIRR Business Unit, Tectonic will be providing program management, construction management, and design compliance services as owners-agent for this transformative project representing the next major phase of the $1-billion+ Jamaica Capacity Improvement Program. This project will construct a new 2-track rail bridge and perform other bridge and structural work east of Jamaica in order to add needed capacity to Jamaica’s Hall Interlocking. It is also the agency’s first bridge installation utilizing the incremental bridge launching technique! Our team is excited to get this assignment started with our subconsultant partners (@T.Y. Lin International, @Enovate Engineering, @M&J Engineering, P.C., and @PACO Group, Inc.) and the Design-Build team (@MLJ Contracting Corp / @J-Track, LLC with engineer-of-record @AECOM).
