China is a world class leader when it comes to railway transportation. As such, the bullet high speed train is thee most common way of intercity and interprovincial travel within China.
In this video, I show you my experience in the business class of the G train traveling from Shenzhen to Guangzhou. The distance between Shenzhen and Guangzhou is 147 km so what would be a 2 hr car drive (including traffic) is a 30 min train ride with the high speed train. These bullet high speed train are fast, clean, efficient and very affordable. The cost for a business class train ticket is USD $29. In comparison, one would pay USD $16 for a first class ticket and USD $12 for a second class ticket.
Not only does China invest in these luxurious trains but puts a lot of money toward the train stations, which are massive and very well maintained. Train stations in China are bigger than airports in most countries.
I hope you enjoyed traveling with me by bullet train! If you did, give this video a thumbs and comment below. If you are keen to see more of my China adventures, make sure you are subscribed and hit the notification bell to be notified every time I post a new video!
