Hello Friends!

Today I am going to teach you...

How to digitally sign a document?

You can digitally sign a document in Adobe Reader by following these steps:

1. Open the Document: Launch Adobe Acrobat Reader and open the PDF document that you want to sign.

2. Access the Tools Pane: Look for the Tools pane on the right-hand side of the window (or click on "Tools" at the top menu).

3. Select "Certificates": In the Tools pane, click on "Certificates." This will display options related to digital signatures.

4. Choose "Digitally Sign": Click on "Digitally Sign" in the Certificates pane.

5. Create a New Digital ID: If you don't have a digital ID already, you'll need to create one. Follow the prompts to generate a new digital ID. You can choose to create a digital ID using a file or from a hardware device like a smart card.

6. Place the Signature: After you've created or selected your digital ID, Acrobat Reader will prompt you to place the signature in the document. Click and drag to draw a rectangle where you want the signature to appear.

7. Complete the Signature: Depending on your settings and the security measures, you may be prompted to enter a password or PIN associated with your digital ID.

8. Save the Document: Once you've placed your digital signature, save the document to preserve the signature and the document itself.

9. Validate the Signature (Optional): Recipients of the digitally signed document can validate the signature by opening the document in Adobe Reader. They can view the signature status and details under "Signature Properties."

By following these steps, you'll be able to digitally sign a PDF document using Adobe Reader, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of your signature.
