Elon Musk has rebranded twitter. Twitter will no longer be called twitter, twitter will now be called x. The login page on twitter has changed to x, happening now.
The twitter app logo has become an X too.

On a Sunday elon musk declared twitter would now become X. He asked the community to make him a new logo in a tweet. If his followers could make a good enough x logo by tonight, he would make the logo go live worldwide tomorrow.
That night a twitter user Sawyer Merritt, offered up an x logo from one of his discontinued product lines.
Elon Musk took that logo and released a video showing off the X, twitter would become. Jack Dorsey the cofounder of twitter wasn’t bothered by the change and said while the rebrand was not essential to achieving elon musk’s vision, all that matters is the utility twitter or X provides, not the name.
Some twitter users claimed the rebranding might have wiped off 4 to 20 billion dollars worth of brand value. Similar to how if someone bought coke and changed its branding and the formula. Elon doesn’t think this is true, he believes X will become the most valuable brand in the world.
