SYNC 4 Retrofit in Ford Fiesta ST MK8 with Digital Dash
Here is a video showing my Fiesta ST MK8 2019 with a Retrofitted SYNC 4 APIM (Not Sync 3.4) and a Digital Dash / IPC
Most functions work, AA Wireless, BT, DAB, FM, AM, Settings, B&O, Reverse Camera, Parking Sensors etc.
APIM is Non Nav as unable to source a EU APIM and can't easily convert the region like we can with SYNC 3, there for no GPS Antenna connection and therefore GPS and Compass don't work.
TCU connectivity is broken, this is a WIP but unlikely to be fixed
DAB Radio "Stations" button doesn't display any stations, skipping back/forward works fine though
WiFi is not working as previously paired to another device and no known reset method is known by the public.
Error in my BCM and RCM for unable to communicate with APIM
Error in my APIM for Incompatible Configuration and unsupported screen
Error in my IPC for missing bus used for Boost Gauge, OIL etc (due to digital dash)
All in all, i think the Wireless AA and imo better sound quality are enough to justify the small amount i paid for this APIM.
