Ms. Gaynor is a PhD. student in cancer research at the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology (NICB), Dublin City University (DCU) and this presentation was delivered as part of a series of events for “Cancer Week” 2017 (held nationally between the 25th September and the 1st October http://cancerweek.ie/).
To mark the event, NICB staff and students hosted a seminar showcasing some of their ongoing cancer research. The aim of the seminars was to increase awareness of cancer in Ireland and explain to DCU staff and the General Public how the NICB is undertaking studies to further understand and treat the disease.
