Today we’re riding the trails of Tyler Mill in Wallingford Connecticut. Right off the bat I have to disclose that these trails aren’t very well maintained. There are a several old playgrounds that you’d have to be insane to ride because they are all rotted out and totally neglected. On a good day sections of these trails look like rivers and trees are constantly falling down and blocking trails.
So then why are we riding here? Because these trails ROCK! These are the trails that I got my first taste of mountain biking all those years ago. Tyler Mill has sent me to the emergency room, busted my bike on several occasions, and is one of my favorite places to ride.
Of all the trails in Tyler Mill the Purple Trail is by far my favorite. In this video we take a look at the Purple Trail and explain why it means so much to me. Thanks for watching!
