Preventing Conflict with a Juvenile Tapanuli Orangutan in Aek Nabara, Batang Toru Ecosystem, Sumatra
On the 8th of July 2020, Scorpion Foundation worked with local villagers to drive away an orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis) from Aek Nabara village (Batang Toru Ecosystem) by frightening it with a barking dog. Conflict of human and this orangutan was successfully prevented.
