(Filmed June 8, 2023) After O Street I originally wanted to do K Street for Amtrak 712 but they were stopped for a lengthy period for an apparent crew change. While that was happening a northbound BNSF freight was approaching and the gates at K Street were still down and since Amtrak was taking its time I had to run down here to Canal Street to catch it and thankfully I made it. I kinda wanted to do this one anyway as it had a mechanical bell on the close signal. The train I got had a Ferromex and Norfolk Southern on the consist. This crossing owned by BNSF Railway is an ATSF 1970s install with changes to a bell, lights, gates, gate lights, mechanisms, counterweight arms and bases.
