Ocean Pylon Base: Modern Beach House Design ▫ Terraria 1.4 Pylon Builds
Part 1 of a mini series between Parts 4 and 5 of the fishing class series where I make builds for specific pylons. As these builds are from our fishing series, I made it a challenge to include a fishing pond and housing enough for 2 NPCs for every pylon base. As a starter, I decided to improve our main base of operations by making a clean modern beach house design.
sigh so much for consistency... oh well. Also, Thanks for 100 Subs! The celebration has been long overdue but I'm honestly surprised I received this much for such few videos. The feedback has also been amazing and personally motivating.
Anyway, hi again. It's been a while since I last uploaded. 5 months to be exact. I'm pretty sure ya'll were waiting for part 5 while I was away. Sadly, school has taken most of my time and it's been stressful. Therefore, I decided to delay the next part until school break which will probably be around May to June. In the meantime, I'll upload other videos like this one. I've got 3 more speedbuilds to upload and a certain sub special. Anyway, look forward to that and I hope I could at least gain some form of consistency.
Personal Thoughts and Criticisms
Normally, I would put this at the end of the video but since I'm trying a new format, I had a lot more to think about. First of all, I didn't just want sped up footage. That's just boring. So, I used a GandalfHardcore-esque format where only important sections are shown. Although after recording, I realized that I should've increased in-game zoom to preserve quality but oh well. I used bad snacks as the background music because it sounds really good on build videos(you could tell if you watch Khaios ;) ). As for specific details, I'm wondering if the pacing was too slow. I'm also unsure if three line commentary was a good idea. Not only that, grammar mistakes continue to haunt me. Even if correct, I believe there are better ways to articulate my thoughts. With all this in mind, I would appreciate it if you can provide feedback so I can fully reassess the quality of my videos.
