Jungle Pylon Base: Swamp/Jungle Hut Design ▫ Terraria 1.4 Pylon Builds
Part 3 of a mini series between Parts 4 and 5 of the fishing class series where I make builds for specific pylons. As these builds are from our fishing series, I made it a challenge to include a fishing pond and housing enough for 2 NPCs for every pylon base. This time around, I challenge my terraforming abilities to make the environment blend around the jungle pylon base.
---- Where I've Been ----
2 years... Quite a long time to be gone. Kinda makes all those other past videos of me saying I'm posting late look like child's play to this. Anyway, before I begin to explain why I had such a hiatus, I just wanna say thanks for the support for the last few videos. The forest pylon build got 17k views and the ocean build also broke over 1k views which I didn't expect. While on hiatus, I was still paying attention to yt statistics and it just kept going up for some reason.
Anyway, I don't want to explain too much as to why I left. To give a super simple answer, school was taking a considerate amount of my time and I wasn't willing to try to balance both at once because I would've adapted an unhealthy lifestyle. So, I decided to just sit it out until I had the time. Throughout that time, I also slowly lost interest in the game which doesn't help to motivate making videos about it so that also held it back.
By that logic, this video upload means I have the free time to make videos for now. I also wanted to get back into the game anyway with the 1.4.5 update rolling around. I want to at least finish my backlog of videos that haven't been edited yet. Probably finish the series before the update? Not sure, all I can say is don't expect a consistent schedule. Anything could happen so please just keep that in mind if you're ever wondering about another late gap between uploads.
TLDR; I stopped editing because I wanted to focus at school and I didn't want to dual wield it with video editing. I'm kind of free now and I can make some videos but I can't guarantee a consistent upload schedule.
