Sentient Surge Ocucor - New Beam Weapon Powerhouse? (Warframe)
Sentient Surge is an augment mod for the old and forgotten Ocucor beam pistol that boosts the weapons crit chance and status chance for each of its trendrils active. In addition, kills will refund up to 20% of your magazine by transferring reserve ammo to the magazine.
A riven mod can greatly improve this weapon by giving you utility: a mod with crit damage and toxin + cold for viral build in will greatly improve space on the weapon and allow you to make the weapon hit harder, even when the disposition is eventually nerfed. Which wouldn't hurt the weapon much, since you WANT lower viral damage than heat anyways.
