Digital Pricing App for Smartphones at Sunrise UPC Stores, Switzerland
Sunrise UPC has deployed our digital pricing app for smartphones and tablets across all their stores in Switzerland, following other telco retailers in Europe who already have implemented our DPA for the same purpose. Consumers can browse on the devices, comparing tariffs and finding best deals, check the device features and learn more about Sunrise and its services. In idle mode, all devices play the same content in synchronous mode, thus delivering a nice and smooth brand image – contrary to those telco shops where each mobile phone manufacturer has his own content running and thus creating a rather confusing visual merchandising impression. All clicks are recorded and provide important, yet anonymous, data about device and tariff preferences. The device settings and other functions are blocked so no user can change the device language, load explicit wallpapers or leave personal data thus conflicting with data protection regulations.
