In Part 19 of our series, Father Konstantin, continuing the theme of the previous issue, discusses what can unite a nation into a single whole, what kind of idea and ideal can truly connect the many individual interests of individuals who make up a nation into a single national interest, a national idea that resonates sincerely in the hearts of the majority of the country's population. Citing examples from Russian history and referring us to the centuries-old experience of previous generations, Father Konstantin testifies that such an idea, such an ideal, drawn from a profound understanding of the essence of Christian life, is the idea of service.
