2 killed in early-morning Goose Creek townhome fire
GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) — Two people were killed after a fire broke out at a residence in Goose Creek early Monday morning.
The Goose Creek Rural Fire Department said they responded to the 100 block of Pine Shadow Drive for a report of a structure fire around 1:56 a.m.
On arrival, firefighters reported a heavy fire present on the first floor of the middle unit of a row of townhomes.
Two residents had already jumped from the second floor of the residents prior to the fire department's arrival, a release states.
