1CCBBH - 550. Bubble Memories (Normal Game Clear)
I promised I'd clear Bubble Memories for game number 550, and... it ended up being far more of a struggle than I thought it would be. Maybe because Bubble Symphony ended up going pretty smooth for #500? It took about ~8 hours of attempts across two different streams to finally get this clear, which is the most time I've spent on a single game thus far in "official" 1CCBBH stream attempts. I'm 100% sure that will get topped by harder games in the future. Also I'm a gigantic idiot that almost threw this credit away because I didn't realize what happened on Round 78 in this run, and thought I had one less life at the end. What a goof!
And yes... despite all this struggle, I did not get the "true" end of the game. To get the true ending you have to put in the Super Game code at the beginning, but unlike Bubble Bobble and Bubble Symphony, the Super Game doesn't just change the enemies - it's 80 completely different stages to learn and is definitely a harder experience. Given my struggles with Normal Game, I'm not really considering learning the Super Game route at this time. Although it does kinda eat away at me that I didn't get the best possible ending. Stay tuned I guess. Now I have to worry about getting the original Bubble Bobble for #600............
