[4.] Ibn Yakub - The Political Leadership of the Prophet [Part 1] (Political Conceptions)
The Prophet's Political Leadership
Who is the most influential person in human history?...
Michael Hart, an American astronomer, mathematician, and historian, compiled a ranking of the 100 most influential people in world history based on several criteria, and number one is our beloved Messenger and Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
We know him as a Messenger and Prophet, but he was far more than that! He, peace and blessings be upon him, was the greatest political leader, from whom we can learn so much.
Brother Ibn Yaqub beautifully explains how this leadership led to success, as even warring tribes abandoned their enmity and instead embraced brotherhood.
SubhanAllah, what beauty, admiration, role models, subtleties, lessons, characters, wisdom, diverse qualities, and so much more Islam offers! The knowledge of Islam is infinite.
Quran, Surah Al-Kahf 18, Verse 109: “Say, ‘If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would surely cease before the words of my Lord cease, even if We were to add another like it.’”
May Allah, the All-Knowing and All-Wise, shape our character to reflect that of our best ancestors, Ameen.
