Summary of Rules:
1. Hardcore Mode/Ironman. Once a character is downed, they cannot be revived/played anymore (some exceptions, detailed later)
Getting downed is considered anything that results the character disappearing in the "fading out" animation, similar to when enemy NPCs "disappear"
Examples:
Combat damage
Environmental damage (fall damage, exploding barrels)
Status effects (burning, electro-charged, etc)
Drowning
Exceptions to Rule 1:
1. Limited time events/challenges not part of the regular game.
2. Falling outside the map/stage (usually in domains)
3. Loss of control/off screen incidents (fall damage due to cutscenes, lightning strikes while talking to NPCs, etc)
4. (As of Episode 63) If a character dies during a boss fight/domain, we have a grace option:
4a. exit the fight immediately, thus permanently losing that one character
4b. try to finish the fight with the remaining characters, and if successful,
choose one character to revive that died in that fight
(I added this exception to prevent team wipes which can make the account unplayable too quickly)
2. COMPLETELY F2P. No Welkin, BP, Genesis crystals, etc.
3. NO STATUE HEALING. All statue autohealing turned off.
4. NO BUFF FOOD, NO HEALING FOOD IN COMBAT. Healing food out of combat is ok as long as I have access to a non-burst healer.
5. NO RUNNING AWAY. Must fight any "aggro'd" enemies.
6. NO TELEPORTING WHEN IN COMBAT (when "combat music" is playing).
7. NO ARTIFACT DOMAINS UNTIL AR40 (changed 45 to 40 as of Episode 63).
8. *NO "FARMING" NORMAL BOSSES. Only kill normal bosses for ascension mats. Weekly bosses excluded (removed as of Episode 63).
9. NO EXP OVERCAPPING. Must raise world level as soon as available.
10. NO CO-OP.
