St. Francis Summer Arts Camp 2020 | Create Now
Thanks to the St. Francis Center food pantry in our DTLA neighborhood, Create Now provided disadvantaged kids with fun arts and crafts classes taught by Brian Yanish, and dance with performer Cina McKenna in June 2020 during Covid-19.

Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 that helps youth in need find their voices through arts mentoring and education. We serve abused, homeless, incarcerated and other challenged youth from Pre-K to age 24 (TAY) through our therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, digital media, fashion design, culinary and performing arts.
Each year, we also bring thousands of these "forgotten children" who have fallen through the cracks to concerts, plays and other cultural events at premiere venues in the region. We have reached more than 45,000 at-risk and high-risk youth in Southern California during the last 23 years.
