Magician Micah Cover volunteers to teach card tricks to Sunshine and her brother Il who live at Imperial Courts housing project in Watts. They've been enjoying Create Now's Power of the Arts Festivals, holiday parties, outings to Cirque du Soleil, and engage in many of our arts programs.

Create Now is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1996 that helps youth in need find their voices through arts mentoring and education. We serve abused, homeless, incarcerated and other challenged youth from Pre-K to age 24 (TAY) through our therapeutic programs in music, writing, visual arts, digital media, fashion design, culinary and performing arts.
Each year, we also bring thousands of these "forgotten children" who have fallen through the cracks to concerts, plays and other cultural events at premiere venues in the region. We have reached more than 49,000 at-risk and high-risk youth in Southern California during the last 24 years.
