I almost doubled my e-bike's range ⚡️ Let me explain how I did it 🧐 Battery extender
In today's video, I'll show you how an e-bike battery extender can solve your electric bike's range problems.
An e-bike battery extender allows you to increase your electric bike's battery capacity at a low cost. Extender batteries are also called auxiliary or supplementary batteries and significantly increase the e-bike's range.
The extender you see in the video is 360 Wh, and I've fitted it to my e-bike with a Shimano EP8 motor and a stock 504 Wh battery. It's not a Shimano EP8-specific extender, but connecting it to the motor's power supply is what makes it compatible with this Shimano motor and not the Bosch.
An extender battery, or auxiliary battery, is an external battery that connects to your e-bike. It's called an extender battery because it increases the capacity of the original battery. Now, my Propain Ekano has an 860 Wh battery, which will allow me to ride pure enduro trails without worrying about range.
